I have an active sense of humour, equal in parts to that of those yellow Simpsons people on the telly box.

Dear Toymakers,

Let me begin by saying that I am not one of those serial complainers who write letters of complaint at the drop of a hat. I have an active sense of humour, equal in parts to that of those yellow Simpsons people on the telly box. When I was young, we had no board games. We would sit around the piano singing songs to the flickering light of the candles. I do however understand that the kids of today need interesting ways of passing the time like Snakes and Ladders. Although I have an issue with any character in a game being called a ‘snake’, I can let this go for the sake of the children.

This leads me to the reason I am writing this complaint. By now you will have deduced that I am a well balanced, in tune with the kids of today, type of person and not a grumpy old, bitter, twisted fool. Your latest board game however, leaves a lot to be desired. How dare you introduce a game like this to the naive young children of today. Have you no decency at all? Surely it should be aimed at teenagers rather than kids? I implore you to recall this game and to put a line under it immediately. For reference purposes and so there is no misunderstandings as to the board game I refer to, I enclose a picture of said game:
